TO GROW AN INCLUSIVE, ECONOMICALLY DIVERSE COMMUNITY BY PROVIDING PERMANENTLY AFFORDABLE HOUSING AND HOUSING RELATED RESOURCES TO MODEST INCOME HOUSEHOLDS IN OURAY COUNTY THROUGH THE STEWARDSHIP OF COMMUNITY ASSETS.

APARTMENT BUILDING WITH SIX UNITS BEING RENTED AS AFFORDABLE HOUSING. SOME SMALL RENOVATIONS AND REPAIRS ARE SCHEDULED FOR A COUPLE UNITS IN 2024 TO KEEP THE PROPERTY MAINTAINED.
SECURED VACANT LAND WITH FUTURE PLANS TO BUILD A MIXED USE DEVELOPMENT. THERE WILL BE AFFORDABLE HOUSING, COMMERCIAL SPACES, AND A LICENSED INFANT/TODDLER CHILDCARE CENTER WHEN CONSTRUCTION IS COMPLETE.
A NEW RESIDENTIAL DUPLEX IS BEING BUILT AND CONSTRUCTION IS ANTICIPATED TO BE COMPLETE BY THE END OF 2024. THIS DUPLEX ITSELF, EXCLUDING THE LAND, WAS BUILT WITH THE INTENTION OF SELLING IT AS AN AFFORDABLE HOUSING OPTION. HOME TRUST OF OURAY COUNTY WILL REGULATE THE PRICE AND AFFORDABILITY AS WELL AS THE INCOME RESTRICTIONS IN A GROUND LEASE WITH THE SALE OF THIS BUILDING.
