THOUGH THE WILLIAMSTON THEATRE(WT) DID NOT MOUNT A "NORMAL" 2020-2021 SEASON, THE ORGANIZATION ENGAGED IN ACTIVITIES TO MAINTAIN THE PUBLIC PROFILE OF THE THEATRE, STRENGTHENED ORGANIZATIONAL CAPACITY, AND PROTECTED LIMITED RESERVES TO ENABLE A REOPENING ONCE THE THREAT OF COVID PASSED. AT THE ONSET OF THE PANDEMIC SHUTDOWN, THE WT TEAM DRAFTED SEVERAL PLANS FOR THE 2020-2021 SEASON, PENDING THE EVOLUTION OF THE VIRUS. ONCE IN-PERSON PERFORMANCE WAS DEEMED UNSAFE, THE WT TEAM PIVOTED TO AUDIO PROJECTS TO MAINTAIN OUR COMMITMENT TO STORYTELLING IN SOME FORMAT AND CONTINUE TO SERVE THE COMMUNITY. FOUR AUDIO PROJECTS, TWO FREE AND TWO ON A PAY-WHAT- YOU-WISH BASIS, WERE DEVELOPED AND CONTINUE TO BE OFFERED TO THE PUBLIC ON THE THEATRE'S WEBSITE. SEVERAL FREE ZOOM PLAY READINGS WERE ALSO OFFERED. WITH THE SUPPORT OF A COMMUNITY FOUNDATION GRANT, THE STAFF AND BOARD ENGAGED IN A YEAR-LONG STATEGIC PLANNING PROCESS WITH A NONPROFIT CONSULTANT, RESULTING IN CLARIFIED VALUES, GOALS, AND A 3-YE
