PIMA COUNCIL ON AGING FOUNDATION WAS INCORPORATED AS A SUPPORTING ORGANIZATION AND IS A TAX-EXEMPT ENTITY WHOSE SOLE PURPOSE IS TO BENEFIT PIMA COUNCIL ON AGING (PCOA.) THE FOUNDATION WAS CREATED IN JULY 2000 TO PROVIDE A RELIABLE MEANS OF SUPPORT TO PCOA, AND SEEKS TO INCREASE PCOA'S ABILITY TO MEET THE CONSTANTLY GROWING NEED FOR QUALITY SERVICES FOR OLDER PERSONS AND THEIR FAMILIES IN SOUTHERN ARIZONA--A NEED THAT CROSSES ALL ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL LINES IN THE COMMUNITY.
