THE ARIZONA CHAPTER OF CONCERNS OF POLICE SURVIVORS (COPS), INC. PROVIDES RESOURCES (SEE SCHEDULE O) TO ASSIST IN THE REBUILDING OF THE LIVES OF SURVIVING FAMILIES AND AFFECTED CO-WORKERS OF LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS KILLED IN THE LINE OF DUTY AS DETERMINED BY FEDERAL CRITERIA. FURTHERMORE, COPS PROVIDES TRAINING TO LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES ON SURVIVOR VICTIMIZATION ISSUES AND EDUCATES THE PUBLIC OF THE NEED TO SUPPORT THE LAW ENFORCEMENT PROFESSION AND ITS SURVIVORS.

PROVIDE SUPPORT TO SURVIVORS (WIDOWS, FATHERS, MOTHERS, SIBLINGS, CHILDREN, CO-WORKERS) TO ATTEND NATIONAL POLICE WEEK IN WASHINGTON DC ALONGSIDE BOARD MEMBERS FROM THE ORGANIZATION AND LOCAL EVENTS SPONSORED BY THE NATIONAL CHAPTER.
PROVIDE RETREATS AND CAMPS FOR SURVIVORS OF FALLEN OFFICERS ON AN ONGOING BASIS.
PROVIDE INFORMATION AND SUPPORT IN THE FORM OF PRINTED MATERIALS, FLOWERS, FUNERAL BAGS AND OTHER ITEMS AND PROVIDE GRANTS TO OTHER ORGANIZATIONS THAT SUPPORT POLICE OFFICERS.
