ARIZONA STATE FIRE TRAINING COMMITTEE PROVIDED TRAINING TO 743 PERSONNEL AT ALL LEVELS THROUGH THE ANNUAL FIRE SCHOOL WHICH OCCURS OVER A 6 DAY PERIOD IN SEPTEMBER. THIS IS THE PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITY OF THE COMMITTEE. AS A SUB FUNCTION OF THE TRAINING COMMITTEE THE ARIZONA CENTER FOR FIRE SERVICE EXCELLENCE CONDUCTS THE FIRE SERVICE TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION PROCESS FOR ARIZONA. IN 2021 THE CENTER CONDUCTED OVER 170 TESTING PROCESSES ISSUING IN EXCESS OF 2000 CERTIFICATES AT VARIOUS CERTIFICATION LEVELS. IN ADDITION THE CENTER CONDUCTED OVER 100 TRAINING PROGRAMS WITH 1400 PARTICIPANTS THROUGHOUT THE STATE.
