GRANT FUNDED INCOME:COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS E-LEARNING COLLABORATIVE (CCELC) PROTOTYPE PROJECT OF THE COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS E-LEARNING COLLABORATIVE. DEVELOP, IMPLEMENT AND EVALUATE A COLLABORATIVE E-LEARNING ENVIRONMENT AS A MEANS OF ASSISTING COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS DEPARTMENTS IN MEETING THEIR TRAINING DEMANDS IN A TIME OF BUDGETARY SHORTFALLS. PROVIDES THE STAFF OF PARTICIPATING AGENCIES AND PROGRAMS WITH THE ABILITY TO ACCESS A NUMBER OF E-LEARNING COURSES FROM THEIR DESKTOP OR LAP TOP, AT WORK OR AT HOME.THE COLLABORATIVE IS AN ALLIANCE OF FOURTEEN COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS ANDCORRECTIONS AGENCIES FROM AROUND THE COUNTRY. IT IS SUPPORTED BY THE AMERICAN PROBATION AND PAROLE ASSOCIATION, THE FEDERAL JUDICIAL CENTER, THE NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF CORRECTIONS, AND THE NATIONAL LAW ENFORCEMENT AND CORRECTIONS TECHNOLOGY CENTER-ROCKY MOUNTAIN REGION.TRAIN INSTRUCTORS, CONVERTED AND POSTED ONLINE COURSES FOR UCLA EXTENSION.
