THE CATALINA FOOTHILLS HIGH SCHOOL BAND RANKS AMONG THE LARGEST AND BEST BANDS IN ARIZONA, RECEIVING MULTIPLE AWARDS EACH YEAR AT LOCAL AND STATE-WIDE COMPETITIONS. THE BAND BOOSTERS PROVIDE FOR THE 350 MATCHING BAND AND SMALL ENSEMBLE MEMBERS TO RECEIVE INSTRUCTION, MUSIC, INSTRUMENTS, UNIFORMS, AND MASTER MUSICIAN CLASSES. THIS OUTSTANDING MUSIC EDUCATION PROGRAM HAS ENABLED THE BAND TO CREATE A REPUTATION FOR EXCELLENCE.
