PASSAGE OF HB 2049 AND SB 1242, CLARIFYING WHO NEEDS A FINGERPRINT CLEARANCE CARD. PASSAGE OF SB 1202, CONTINUATION OF THE NCIA BOARD. REPRESENTED MEMBERS BEFORE ADHS, AHCCCS, NCIA, AND THE AZ AGS OFFICE. ADVOCATED FOR AN INCREASE IN AHCCCS/ALTCS FUNDING MET WITH CANDIDATES AND LEGISLATORS TO DISCUSS CRITICAL ISSUES AFFECTING OUR MEMBERSHIP. FULLY LAUNCHED THE ARIZONA LEADINGAGE POLITICAL ACTION COMMITTEE. SUBMITTED RULE COMMENTS ON BEHALF OF MEMBERS CONTINUED PARTICIPATION IN STATEWIDE WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT COLLABORA FIVES. PRODUCED A SUCCESSFUL ANNUAL CONFERENCE AND EXPO WITH 16.S CEUS OPPORTUNITIES AND 370 ATTENDEES AND OVER 600 HOURS OF CEUS BY ATTENDEES AS A STATE-CERTIFIED CAREGIVER TRAINING SCHOOL, AZLA CONTINUED TO TRAIN CAREGIVERS. BECAME A STATE-CERTIFIED ASSISTED LIVING MANAGER TRAINING SCHOOL AND TRAINED 8 NEW AL MANAGERS. DEVELOPED AND PROVIDED A FALL PREVENTION RECOVERY TRAINING FOR SKILLED NURSING FACILITIES, ASSISTED LIVING FACILITIES, RESIDENTIAL HOMES, AND ADULT DAY PROVIDED MONTHLY CLINICAL EDUCATION RELATED TO INFECTION PREVENTION, AIDS, COMPLIANCE AND ETHICS.
