PATIENT REVENUE CONSISTS OF CHARGES TO PATIENTS FOR SERVICES RENDERED. THESE CHARGES ARE FOR INSURED AND UNINSURED PATIENTS AND ARE COMPARABLE TO WHAT OTHER HEALTH SERVICE FACILITIES WOULD CHARGE FOR THE SAME SERVICES. PATIENT FEES FOR QUALIFYING PATIENTS ARE ADJUSTED BASED ON A SLIDING FEE SCALE SUBSIDY ADJUSTMENT BASED ON EACH PATIENT'S ABILITY TO PAY. ADELANTE HEALTHCARE, INC. IS A S.330 FQHC WHICH RECEIVES FEDERAL AND NON-FEDERAL GRANTS FROM VARIOUS AGENCIES TO SUPPORT PROGRAMS INCLUDING IMMUNIZATION, WIC, DENTAL, PRENATAL SERVICES AS WELL AS COMPREHENSIVE MEDICAL CARE. EXPENSES INCURRED ARE PRIMARILY FOR PERSONNEL SERVICES AND FRINGE BENEFITS. ADDITIONAL COSTS INCURRED ARE FOR CONTRACTUAL SERVICES RELATED TO PATIENT CARE, SUPPLIES, OCCUPANCY, DEPRECIATION, TRAVEL AND INTEREST EXPENSE.
