THE PURPOSE OF SEED CERTIFICATION IS TO MAINTAIN AND MAKE AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC HIGH QUALITY SEED AND PROPAGATING MATERIAL OF CROP VARIETIES SO GROWN AND DISTRIBUTED AS TO ASSURE THEIR GENETIC IDENTITY AND PURITY. AS THE DESIGNATED ARIZONA SEED-CERTIFYING AGENCY (AS AUTHORIZED BY ARIZONA STATUTE), THE ASSOCIATION'S CERTIFICATION PROGRAMS INCLUDE FOUNDATION SEED OPERATIONS AND NOXIOUS WEED-FREE HAY.
