THE SIA FOUNDATION WAS CREATED TO SERVE AS THE IDEAL STEWARD OF THE SIA STORAGE NETWORK: FINANCIALLY STABLE, POLITICALLY NEUTRAL, AND TECHNOLOGICALLY CAPABLE. WE AIM TO DISRUPT CLOUD STORAGE BY ALLOWING PEERS TO BUY AND SELL CLOUD STORAGE DIRECTLY IN A GLOBAL, TRUSTLESS MARKETPLACE, AND TO CONDUCT RESEARCH AND ENGINEERING IN THE OPEN, SHARING OUR RESULTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF ALL.
