PROMOTION PROGRAM - THE FOUNDATION PROMOTES THE WORLD-CLASS IMAGE OF NEW YORK GRAPES AND WINES FROM OUR DIVERSE REGIONS TO RESPONSIBLY BENEFIT FARMERS, PRODUCERS AND CONSUMERS. CAPACITY BUILDING, EDUCATION, SUSTAINABILITY AND BOTH DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL MARKETING ARE THE MAIN FOCUS OF THE PROMOTIONAL EFFORTS CARRIED OUT BY THE FOUNDATION.
RESEARCH PROGRAM - THE FOUNDATION SUPPORTS RESEARCH PROJECTS THAT PROVIDE INFORMATION AND STATISTICS THAT ARE CRITICAL TO THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE NEW YORK WINE AND GRAPE INDUSTRY. THE FOCUS OF THE PROJECTS ARE PREDOMINANTLY VITICULTURE AND ENOLOGY, ALONG WITH OTHER STUDIES THAT ARE ON THE LEADING EDGE OF THE INDUSTRY'S INTEREST.
