WHEN APPROPRIATE, OUR EDUCATIONAL THERAPISTS WILL COMMUNICATE WITH TEACHERS, COLLABORATE WITH THE SPECIAL EDUCATION TEAM, ATTEND SCHOOL MEETINGS, AND SHARE INFORMATION ABOUT THE STUDENT'S PROGRESS, UPCOMING ASSIGNMENTS, AND STRATEGIES. EDUCATIONAL THERAPY IS DESIGNED TO HELP STUDENTS DEVELOP A MORE REALISTIC UNDERSTANDING OF WHO THEY ARE AS LEARNERS, ADOPT A STRATEGIC APPROACH TO MANAGING ACADEMIC OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES, INCREASE MOTIVATION TO ENGAGE WITH THEIR WORK AND PERSIST WHEN CHALLENGED, DEVELOP AND APPLY STRATEGIES THAT ADDRESS AREAS OF CHALLENGE IN A SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT AND REDUCE THE STRESS AND ANXIETY ASSOCIATED WITH SCHOOL.
