IN 2021 OUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS ARE AS FOLLOWS:- RECEIVED CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT APPROVAL FROM CHELAN COUNTY FOR THE MUSEUM ON THE BUILDING SITE; - COMPLETED BUILDING PLANS IN CONSULTATION WITH THE BUILDING OWNER, ARCHITECT, ANDCHELAN COUNTY;- OBTAINED WELL APPROVAL, SEPTIC SYSTEM APPROVAL, STORM DRAINAGE PLAN APPROVAL ANDINSTALLED ELECTRICAL SERVICE TO THE MUSEUM SITE;- INITIATED INTERIOR DIORAMA AND MURAL DESIGNS WITH MONARCH TAXIDERMY, INC WITHWORK SCHEDULED FOR LATE 2022;- CONTRACTED WITH THE STEEL BUILDING MANUFACTURER FOR BUILDING DELIVERY LATE MAY 2022. ALSO CONTRACTED WITH THE STEEL ERECTION CONTRACTOR TO START PROJECT CONSTRUCTION LATE APRIL 2022;- OBTAINED DONATIONS FOR 25 TAXIDERMY SPECIMENS FOR INITIAL DIORAMA DISPLAYS ANDRECEIVED COMMITMENTS FROM DONORS FOR ANOTHER 94 SPECIMENS TO BE DELIVERED IN 2023;- APPLIED FOR AND RECEIVED WASHINGTON STATE SCIENTIFIC COLLECTION PERMIT FOR RARE PIEBALD MULE DEER FAWNS (ODOCOILEUS HEMIONUS HEMIONUS) THAT WERE FOUND STILL BORNE IN THE WILD. THESE HAVE NOW BEEN MOUNTED AND READY FOR INSTALLATION IN THE MULE DEER DIORAMA;- INTERVIEWED APPLICANTS FOR CURATOR/EDUCATION DIRECTOR WITH HIRE EXPECTED LATE 2022.
