SNO-KING ICE SPORTS, ALSO KNOWN AS "SKIS," WAS FORMED TO CARRY OUT THE NONCHARITABLE ACTIVITIES OF AN AFFILIATED 501(C)(3) SNO-KING AMATEUR HOCKEY ASSOCIATION. SKIS PROMOTES SOCIAL WELFARE AND THE COMMMON GOOD WITHIN THE MEANING OF SECTION 501(C)(4) OF THE CODE FOR THE SPECIFIC PURPOSES OF:(1) ENCOURAGING AND PROMOTING THE GROWTH OF AMATEUR HOCKEY AND OTHER ICE ORIENTED ACTIVITIES, WHICH TEACH PHYSICAL SKILLS, FAIR PLAY, DISCIPLINE, RESPECT FOR AUTHORITY AND COMPETITIVENESS, AND(2) MAINTAINING AND OPERATING ICE ARENAS TO PROMOTE SPORTS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES ON ICE FOR CHILDREN AND OTHER RESIDENTS, INCLUDING FAMILIES OF THE COMMUNITIES IN WHICH SUCH ARENAS ARE LOCATED.

SNO-KING ICE SPORTS CONTINUES TO IMPROVE THE ENVIRONMENT OF OUR RINKS, PROVIDING A CLEAN, WARM, SAFE AND INVITING ATMOSPHERE FOR OUR MEMBERS AND CUSTOMERS. WE PROVIDE BOTH PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SKATING SESSIONS, ALLOWING CUSTOMERS TO IMPROVE THEIR SKATING ABILITY, REGARDLESS OF SKILL LEVEL, FROM BEGINNERS TO COMPETITIVE FIGURE SKATERS.
