PITTSBURGHERS FOR PUBIC TRANSIT IS A GRASSROOTS UNION OF TRANSIT WORKERS, RIDERS AND NEIGHBORS WHO ORGANIZE FOR MOR EQUITABLE, AFFORDABLE AND ACCESSIBLE PUBLIC TRANSIT THAT MEETS ALL NEEDS, WITH NO COMMUNITIES LEFT BEHIND.

PPT WORKED WITH 45 VOLUNTEERS TO DISTRIBUTE 2,000 MASKS AT 20 EVENTS AT BUS STOPS. THESE EVENTS RESULTED IN 1,500 TRANSIT RIDERS LEARNNG MORE ABOUT THE TRANSIT FUNDING SITUATION
PPT ENGAGED 120 MEMBERS OF THE PUBLID IN 13 MEETINGS TO DEVELOP AND RELEASE THE PITTSBURGH 100 DAY TRANSIT PLATFORM. THIS RESULTED IN DISCUSSION AND EDUCATION FOR 120 MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC AND 10 ELECTED OFFICIALS ABOUT THE CITY'S ROLE IN SUPPORTING PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
PPT CALLED, EMAILED AND TEXTED 1,800 TRANSIT RIDERS TO JOIN PORT AUTHORITY'S MEETINGS TO UPLIFT PREFERRED TRANSPORTATION INVESTMENTS IN THE MON VALLEY AND EASTERN SUBURBS. AS A RESULT, 250 PEOPLE TOOK PART IN THE PLANNING PROCESS THROUGH WRITTEN COMMENTS OR SPOKEN TESTIMONY IN PUBLIC MEETINGS
