RIGHTFULLY SEWN, INC. EMPLOYS 29 INDIVIDUALS PRODUCING SEWN GOODS AND GARMENT DESIGNS, AN INCREASE OF 9 EMPLOYEES FROM THE PRIOR YEAR. RSI CREATES COMPETITIVE JOB OPPORTUNITIES VIA CONTRACTED OR SMALL BATCH SEWING TO MEET DEMANDS OF CUSTOMERS. THROUGH PARTNERSHIPS AND REFERRALS FROM NON-PROFIT COMMUNITY AGENCIES, RSI PROVIDES PROFESSIONAL TRAINING, CURRICULUM, AND JOB PLACEMENT TO MEN AND WOMEN FROM MARGINALIZED COMMUNITIES, INCLUDING REFUGEES AND IMMIGRANTS. THIS YEAR, 340 INDIVIDUALS RECEVIED TRAINING AND PROGRAMMING IN THE VOCATION OF SEWING AND GARMENT DESIGN. RSI HIRED 11 NEW EMPLOYEES, 9 OF WHICH WERE OF MARGINALIZED OR IMMIGTRANT/REFUGEE STATUS.
RIGHTFULLY SEWN, INC. PROVIDES COMMUNITY CLASSES AND A PROFESSIONAL SEAMSTRESS TRAINING CURRICULUM TO THOSE WHO WANT TO OBTAIN EMPLOYMENT IN THE BUSINESS OF SEWING. GRADUATES OBTAIN EXPERTISE IN PRODUCTION-BASED SEWING, FINE SEWING, GARMENT DESIGN, AND OTHER FACETS OF THE INDUSTRY. PROGRAM GRADUATES MAY PURSUE EMPLOYMENT AT RSI OR AT OTHER EMPLOYERS THAT SEEK THOSE SKILLS. RSI'S SEAMSTRESS ACADEMY GRADUATED 8 INDIVIDUALS.
