THE MIAMI CENTER FOR RACIAL JUSTICE IS COMMITTED TO ENSURING THAT THESE PAINFUL STORIES ARE NOT FORGOTTEN, AS IGNORING THEM MAKES IT MORE LIKELY THAT HISTORY WILL REPEAT ITSELF. THESE EXPENSES COVER THE COSTS OF PURCHASING AND DISTRIBUTING BANNED BOOKS, STAFFING, COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT, AND TRANSPORTATION, AS WELL AS ADDITIONAL NEEDS SUCH AS EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS, EVENT SUPPLIES, TECHNOLOGY FOR VIRTUAL PROGRAMS AND LECTURES, MARKETING EFFORTS, VOLUNTEER SUPPORT, AND ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPLIES. THESE INVESTMENTS ALIGN WITH MCRJ'S MISSION TO EDUCATE, RAISE AWARENESS, AND KEEP THESE CRITICAL HISTORIES ALIVE, ENSURING THAT THE ORGANIZATION'S PROGRAMS RUN EFFECTIVELY AND CONTINUE TO MAKE A MEANINGFUL IMPACT IN THE COMMUNITY.
