THE ORGANIZATION IS ORGANIZED AND OPERATED EXCLUSIVELY FOR EXEMPT PURPOSES WITHIN THE MEANING OF SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE OF 1986, AS AMENDED. THE ORGANIZATION SEEKS TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC AND SERVE AS A SOURCE OF LOCAL NONPARTISAN NEWS FOR UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES IN THE CITY OF DALLAS, TEXAS THROUGH THE PRODUCTION OF QUALITY LOCAL JOURNALISM THAT IS OTHERWISE LACKING IN DALLAS.THE ORGANIZATIONS PRIMARY ACTIVITY WILL CONSIST OF PUBLISHING AND DISTRIBUTING (THROUGH BOTH PHYSICAL AND DIGITAL CHANNELS, INCLUDING ON ITS WEBSITE) A MONTHLY MAGAZINE FOCUSED ON LOCAL NEWS AND ISSUES AFFECTING RESIDENTS OF DALLAS AND ITS VARIOUS NEIGHBORHOODS, INFORMING AND EMPOWERING CITIZENS BY SHARING STORIES THAT ARE EDUCATIONAL, INTERESTING AND INCLUSIVE. SENT MORE THAN 5 MILLION EMAILS WITHOUT CHARGE TO READERS TO EDUCATE AND INFORM DALLAS AND PLANO RESIDENTS WHO SIGNED UP TO RECEIVE NEWS AND CONTENT UPDATES CONCERNING THE CITIES OF DALLAS AND PLANO AND THEIR VARIOUS NEIGHBORHOODS VIA EMAIL.
