MARTIN COUNTY SUBSTANCE ABUSE COALITION'S (MCSAP) MISSION IS TO PREVENT UNDERAGE USE AND ABUSE OF ALCOHOL, MARIJUANA, AND OTHER DRUGS IN MARTIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA. MCSAP PRIMARILY WORKS TO SHARE RESOURCES, IDEAS AND INFORMATION TO RAISE COMMUNITY AWARENESS IN ORDER TO PROMOTE PREVENTION.

SUBSTANCE ABUSE PREVENTION COALITION WORKING TO PREVENT UNDERAGE USE AND MISUSE OF ALCOHOL, MARIJUANA, TOBACCO AND OTHER DRUGS IN MARTIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA, BY EMPOWERING AND SUPPORTING THEM TO MAKE GOOD CHOICES. MCSAP PROVIDED EVIDENCE-BASED CURRICULUM FOR YOUTH IN GRADES 6-11 AT SEVEN COUNTY SCHOOLS, PROVIDED POSITIVE NORMS MESSAGING, SPONSORED SUBSTANCE-FREE YOUTH GROUPS AND COMMUNITY-WIDE ACTIVITIES, SUPPORTED CORE MEASURES SURVEY AT ALL COUNTY PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOLS, PROVIDED YOUTH LEADERSHIP TRAINING EVENTS.
