HAWAIIAN TIME ATHLETICS TEACHES IMPORTANT LIFE SKILLS, VOLLEYBALL TRAINING AND TOURNAMENT OPPORTUNITIES TO YOUTH AGES 9 - 18, AND AIMS TO BUILD CONFIDENCE IN OUR STUDENT-ATHLETES AND SUPPORT THEM AS THEY STRIVE TO FULFILL THEIR DREAMS ON AND OFF THE PLAYING COURT/FIELD. FEBRUARY 2022 - CLUB VOLLEYBALL 25 PLAYERS, THREE (3) COACHES AND ABOUT 30 FAMILY MEMBERS LEARNED ABOUT ONE OF THE CULTURAL PRACTICES OF THE HAWAIIAN PEOPLE BY PREPARING MEAT FOR AN IMU (UNDERGROUND OVEN), PACKING THE IMU AND SHREDDING THE MEAT FOR CONSUMPTION. JUNE 2022 - TRAVEL FOR OUR 12U, 15U AND 16U TEAMS (24 TOTAL PLAYERS) TRAVELED TO LAS VEGAS, NEVADA TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SCVA SUMMER SOIREE. OUR 16U TEAM WON THE GOLD MEDAL FOR THE 16U FLIGHT 1 BRACKET. OCTOBER 2022 - COMMUNITY SERVICE - 30 FAMILIES PARTICIPATED IN A CLOTHES COLLECTION DRIVE FOR SAVERS AND HELPED TO COLLECT OVER 1,800 POUNDS OF HARD/SOFT GOODS FOR THE WAIPAHU COMMUNITY.
