DURING 2023, THE ORGANIZATION CONTINUED COMMUNICATION WITH AERIAL LAW ENFORCEMENT CHIEFS WITH DIALOGUE ENGAGEMENTS TO BRIDGE THE GAP BETWEEN LAW ENFORCEMENT AND COMMUNITY. WE HAVE ESTABLISHED ENGAGEMENTS WITH MENTAL HEALTH ADVOCACY FOR COMMUNITY YOUTH AND ADULTS. WE ARE LEARNING THAT THIS IS A DAUNTING TASK WITH LAW ENFORCEMENT, MENTAL HEALTH CONCERNS WHILE DELICATELY IN PURSUIT OF ESTABLISHING TRUST WITH ALL PARTIES IN THIS ARENA.WE ALSO TRAVELED TO GEORGE FLOYD SQUARE IN MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA FOR THE THIRD ANNIVERSARY OF GEORGE FLOYD'S DEATH. WE ESTABLISHED A COLLABORATIVE ENGAGEMENT WITH THE COMMUNITY LEADERS TO KEEP THE LEGACY OF GEORGE ALIVE AND WELL. SIMPLY PUT; WE ARE PURSUING COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT WITH BOOTS ON THE GROUND, TO POSITIVELY IMPACT THE LIVES OF OTHERS. THE THEME IS "THAT'S WHAT COMMUNITY LOOKS LIKE". INDIVIDUALS WITH LIKE MINDS AND HEARTS THAT ARE WILLING TO COME TOGETHER AND MAKE A DIFFERENCE. THE VISIT CONSISTED OF A FRIENDLY PROTEST, SEMINARS, AND RECOGNITION OF THE FLOYD FAMILY MEMBERS IN ATTENDANCE.
