Part 3
DUE TO COVID, CLASSES INSIDE THE JAIL WERE NOT ABLE TO BEGIN UNTIL NOVEMBER OF 2021. HOWEVER, ONCE VOLUNTEERS WERE ALLOWED BACK INTO THE JAIL, WE WERE ABLE TO PROVIDE CLASSES TO EACH OF THE 9 BLOCKS, MEN AND WOMEN, OVER 250 INDIVIDUALS IN ALL. CLASSES TOOK PLACE EACH DAY OF THE WEEK, EXCEPT FOR SATURDAYS. WE ALSO PROVIDED ASSISTANCE WITH TRANSPORTATION AND HELP IN FINDING SAFE HOUSING FOR MORE THAN 30 INDIVIDUALS. OUR SERVICES ARE 100% VOLUNTEER BASED.
