TPA'S MISSION IS TO ADDRESS BASEBALL'S SYSTEMIC BARRIERS TO EQUITY & INCLUSION BY CREATING PATHWAYS TO OPPORTUNITIES ON AND OFF THE FIELD FOR AN UNDENIABLE PIPELINE OF BLACK TALENT.

EQUIP THE FUTURE: A MENTORING PROGRAM LEAD BY PRO BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL PLAYERS TARGETING THE GAMES LOSS OF TALENT STARTING AT MIDDLE SCHOOL. PRO PLAYERS USE THEIR JOURNEY TO HELP YOUTH CRAFT A SUCCESSFUL PATH OF THEIR OWN.FOCUS CITIES COMBINE TPA'S PROGRAMMING RESOURCES AND COLLABORATIONS IN A STRATEGIC APPROACH OF SERVING COMMUNITIES EXPERIENCING HIGH CHILDHOOD POVERTY AND LOW ACCESS TO THE GAME. TPA'S FOCUS CITIES EXPERIENCE POVERTY 2X TO 3X THE NATIONAL AVERAGE.


MLB PROGRAMS INCLUDING FANS2STANDS AND JACKIE ROBINSON DAY.OTHER PROGRAMS INCLUDE LEVEL UP LAB AND THE PLAY IN COLOR MURAL PROGRAM


PLAYER INCUBATOR IS TPA'S PROGRAMMING LABORATORY WHERE SOLUTIONS ARE SUGGESTED, CRAFTED AND TESTED BY PRO PLAYERS FOR COMMUNITY IMPLEMENTATION. SOLUTIONS SUMMIT ARE FACILITATED CONVERSATIONS BETWEEN BASEBALLS INFLUENCERS AND THE TALENT AND OPPORTUNITY THE GAME SEEKS TO ENGAGE. EACH SUMMIT IS DESIGNED TO ENSURE EFFECTIVE LEARNING, COMMUNICATION AND PLANNING FOR TPA'S FUTURE.BATTER UP TRAININGS TARGETED CAPACITY DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING FOR COMMUNITY BASED BASEBALL PROGRAMS IN FUNDRAISING, PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT AND RESOURCE GENERATION. TRAININGS SERVE AS A PRECURSOR TO PROGRAMS SEEKING FINANCIAL SUPPORT.


GEAR FOR GOOD IS A PLAYERLED GIFT IN KIND PROGRAM. GIFTS OF EQUIPMENT, APPAREL AND ETC. ARE TRANSFERRED TO NEEDY SCHOOLS, TEAMS AND COMMUNITIES ON AN ANNUAL BASIS. DONATIONS STEM FROM PLAYERS AS INDIVIDUALS AND INFLUENCERS. SUPPLY IS SOURCED FROM PLAYERS VIA CLUBS AND MLB PARTNERS AND THEN MATCHED WITH INFORMATION SUBMITTED BY COMMUNITY COACHES REFLECTING TOP UNSUPPORTED NEEDS.
