FRUITFUL COMMONS PROVIDES RESEARCH, IMPLEMENTATION, MAINTENANCE, AND PROGRAMMATIC SUPPORT TO THE URBAN FORESTRY AND PARKS DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF AUSTIN. THIS INCLUDES PROVIDING MINI GRANTS, EDUCATIONAL EVENTS, DATA COLLECTION, AND NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES FOR PROJECTS THAT SERVE MARGINALIZED COMMUNITIES. THE ORGANIZATION OFFERS ASSISTANCE WITH LAND AGREEMENT NEGOTIATIONS, INSURANCE COVERAGE, DONATION PROCESSING, VENDOR PAYMENTS, BUDGETING STRUCTURES, FINANCIAL REPORTING, AND NON-PROFIT STATUS FOR COMMUNITY FOOD-GROWING PROJECTS.
