COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE (CLI): OUR SIX-MONTH FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM SUPPORTS, TRAINS, AND PLACES EMERGING LEADERS FROM COMMUNITIES OF COLOR TO SIT ON LOCAL BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS.
BIPOC CANDIDATE TRAININGS: WE CONVENE CANDIDATE TRAININGS FOR BIPOC LEADERS CONSIDERING RUNNING FOR OFFICE. WE HOSTED OUR FIRST CANDIDATE TRAINING FOR CLI ALUMS IN 2020. 20% OF CLI FELLOWS ATTENDED. THIS PROGRAM COMBINES REGULAR TRAININGS ALONGSIDE COACHING SESSIONS WITH POTENTIAL CANDIDATES.
CANDIDATE PEER SUPPORT COHORTS: IN LOCAL ELECTION YEARS, WE INVITE A SMALL GROUP OF BIPOC CANDIDATES TO PARTICIPATE IN A CONFIDENTIAL PEER SUPPORT AND STRATEGIZING COHORT WHILE THEY'RE RUNNING FOR OFFICE.
POLITICAL LEADERSHIP COUNCIL: OUR LEADERSHIP COUNCIL IS A GRASSROOTS DECISION-MAKING BODY OF CLI ALUMNI THAT COME TOGETHER TO MAKE ENDORSEMENTS IN CITY AND COUNTY ELECTIONS IN WASHINGTON STATE.
