Part 3 - Line 4a
SINCE COVID RESTRICTIONS WERE EASED WE HELD A COMMUNITY EVENT SERVING BOWLS OF SOUP ON A SINGLE DAY. THE PURPOSE WAS TO RAISE AWARENESS THAT THERE ARE FAMILIES IN THIS COUNTY WHO ARE HUNGRY AND LIVE WITH FOOD INSECURITY.
OUR PRIMARY ACTIVITY IS SOLICITATION OF DONATIONS AND GRANTING THOSE FUNDS TO ORGANIZATIONS WHO WILL PROVIDE FOOD TO THOSE IN NEED. ALMOST ALL OF OUR FUNDRAISING OCCURS IN THE FALL AND MOST OF OUR GRANTS ARE DISTRIBUTED IN LATE WINTER AND EARLY SPRING OF THE FOLLOWING CALENDAR YEAR.
