THIS PROGRAM WAS MADE POSSIBLE THROUGH A $2 MILLION GRANT FROM THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE (USDA) FOOD & NUTRITION SERVICE AND DEVELOPED WITH A TEAM FROM GEORGETOWN UNIVERSITY MCDONOUGH SCHOOL OF BUSINESS.
AS SCHOOL MEAL PROGRAMS NATIONWIDE FACED CANCELED ORDERS, SHORTAGES OF FOODS AND SUPPLIES, AND LABOR CHALLENGES, SNF AND NO KID HUNGRY TEAMED UP TO HELP SCHOOL NUTRITION PROFESSIONALS MANAGE PERSISTENT SUPPLY CHAIN DISRUPTIONS: SUPPLY CHAIN INNOVATION PROJECT.
