OUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS FOR 2022 INCLUDE: WE WERE ABLE TO REACH OUT EFFECTIVELY AND ADVERTISE OUR SAVE OUR YOUTH BASKETBALL PROGRAM CENTERED ON THE POSITIVE YOUTH DEVELOPMENT MODEL. TARGETED CHILDREN WITHIN THE INNER CITY OF SPRINGFIELD, MASSACHUSETTS AND SURROUNDING TOWNS. ATTRACTED A MAJORITY OF MINORITY CHILDREN FROM UNDERSERVED AREAS WHO WERE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN AN ORGANIZED BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT/PROGRAM. WE PUT TOGETHER ONE GIRLS TEAM WHO WERE ABLE TO COMPETE IN A WESTERN MASSACHUSETTS CYO SEASON TOURNAMENT; THEY PARTICIPATED WITH OTHER PROGRAMS OUTSIDE OF SPRINGFIELD, MASSACHUSETTS. HAVE A POTENTIAL SECOND TEAM FOR NEXT YEAR.
