THE MISSION OF THE APPALACHIAN OHIO MANUFACTURERS' COALITION AOMC IS TO CREATE MANUFACTURER-LED SOLUTIONS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH EDUCATION WORKFORCE AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT THAT MOTIVATE AND PREPARE YOUTH AND INCUMBENT WORKERS THROUGH SKILLS TRAINING AND CREDENTIALS TO ENTER AND ADVANCE IN MANUFACTURING CAREERS.

AOMC PROVIDED SUPPORT TO LOCAL HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE PROGRAMS RELATED TO TECHNICAL MANUFACTURING FIELDS.
AOMC SUPPORTED SCHOOLS AND MANUFACTURING COMPANIES IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF INDUSTRY RECOGNIZED CREDENTIALING PROGRAMS.
AOMC CONDUCTED QUARTERLY GATHERINGS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR TO BRING MANUFACTURERS EDUCATORS AND GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS TOGETHER TO TOUR MANUFACTURING FACILITIES LISTEN TO INDUSTRY SPEAKERS AND NETWORK TO HELP CREATE MEANINGFUL SOLUTIONS FOR WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT. ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES WERE HOSTED SUPPORTED OR ATTENDED TO INCREASE AWARENESS AMONG STUDENTS AND THE GENERAL COMMUNITY.
