THE NORTH CANTON CARES PANTRY (NCC PANTRY) PROVIDES FOOD, HEALTHCARE, AND HYGIENE ITEMS TO NORTH CANTON, OHIO FAMILIES AS WELL AS MILITARY AND VETERAN FAMILES WHO ARE STRUGGLING WITH FOOD INSECURITY. NCC PANTRY PARTNERS WITH THE NORTH CANTON CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT, THE SUMMIT CHURCH, AND SHALE BREWERY TO PROVIDE VOLUNTEERS TO DISTRIBUTE FOOD TO AREA RESIDENTS. MOST FOOD ORDERS ARE PLACED WITH THE AKRON-CANTON REGIONAL FOODBANK AND NCC PANTRY ADHERES TO THE STANDARDS AND RESPONSIBILITIES OUTLINED IN THE FOODBANK ANNUAL PARTNERSHIP & LIABILITY AGREEMENT.

NCC PANTRY PROVIDED FOOD AND BASIC HYGIENE NEEDS FOR 6,613 INDIVIDUALS IN 2023. FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS CAN VISIT THE DISTRIBUTION CENTER LOCATED IN SUMMIT CHURCH BUILDING ON A BI-MONTHLY BASIS EVERY 2ND AND 4TH MONDAY OF THE MONTH. ALL SERVICES ARE PROVIDED WITH VOLUNTEER LABOR. IN 2023, NCC PANTRY HAD 2,396 VOLUNTEERS GIVING 6,782 HOURS OF SERVICE.
PROVIDE BREAKFAST AND LUNCH FOR NORTH CANTON CHILDREN DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS. MEALS ARE PROVIDED FOR 16 WEEKS ON WEEKDAYS.
