THE MEETINGS IN PARIS AND NEW YORK CITY WERE ATTENDED BY 15 KEY BENEFICIARIES INCLUDING FORMER POLITICAL PRISONERS, TIBETAN RIGHTS ACTIVISTS, MEMBERS OF TIBETAN COMMUNITIES IN EUROPE AND MEMBERS OF TIBETAN PARLIAMENT-IN-EXILE BASED IN EUROPE, AUSTRALIA, AND CANADA THAT PROVIDED US FURTHER INSIGHTS INTO THE GEOGRAPHICAL SPREAD AND TACTICS EMPLOYED BY THE CHINESE PERPETRATORS OF TRANSNATIONAL REPRESSION. THE THREE DAY MEETING EXPLORED SEVERAL TOPICS INCLUDING THE SCOPE AND EXTENT OF TRANSNATIONAL REPRESSION IN THE TIBETAN DIASPORA COMMUNITIES, IDENTIFYING KEY ACTORS INVOLVED IN PERPETRATING TRANSNATIONAL REPRESSION IN THE TIBETAN DIASPORA COMMUNITIES, SHARING PERSONAL ACCOUNTS OF TRANSNATIONAL REPRESSION, AND COUNTERING TRANSNATIONAL REPRESSION THROUGH INDIVIDUAL AND COLLECTIVE MEASURES FOR THE PURPOSE OF DOCUMENTATION FOR TCHRD'S RESEARCH REPORT ON TRANSNATIONAL REPRESSION.
