GOAL: HOSTING AND SUPPORT FOR ASYLUM SEEKERS IN OUR LOCAL COMMUNITIES AS THEY PURSUE THEIR ASYLUM CASES. IN 2021, WE CONTINUED TO SUPPORT THE FOUR FAMILIES OR INDIVIDUALS SEEKING ASYLUM WHOM WE BEGAN HOSTING IN 2020, TOTALING 5 ADULTS AND 7 CHILDREN. IN ADDITION, AN INDIVIDUAL (FAMILY E) JOINED US 3/20/2021. WE BEGAN HOSTING ANOTHER INDIVIDUAL (FAMILY F) 4/25/2021. ALL OF OUR GUESTS ARE PROVIDED WITH HOUSING, FOOD, CLOTHING, HEALTH CARE AND LEGAL REPRESENTATION. CHILDREN ARE ENROLLED IN SCHOOL AND SUMMER PROGRAMS. ADULTS ARE ENROLLED IN ENGLISH CLASSES AND VOCATIONAL EDUCATION AS APPROPRIATE. AS NEEDED, WE PROVIDED TRANSPORTATION, TUTORING, TRANSLATION, MENTAL AND PHYSICAL HEALTH CARE, AND ANY OTHER NEEDS. FAMILY A: 2 ADULTS, 3 CHILDREN. ARRIVED 2/1/2020. FAMILY B: 1 ADULT, 1 CHILD. ARRIVED 2/7/2020 . FAMILY C: 1 ADULT, 3 CHILDREN. ARRIVED 6/15/2020. FAMILY D: 1 ADULT. ARRIVED 10/3/2020. FAMILY E: 1 YOUTH AGED 19. FAMILY F: 1 YOUTH AGED 18. FAMILIES A-D WERE HOSTED FOR 365 DAYS IN 2021. FAMILY E WAS HOSTED FOR 286 DAYS. FAMILY F WAS HOSTED FOR 250 DAYS.
