HOSPICE OF KONA FOUNDATION WORKS TO RAISE COMMUNITY AWARENESS AND FUNDING IN SUPPORT OF HOSPICE OF KONA INC.'S SERVICES, PROGRAMS AND MISSION TO PROVIDE FAMILY-CENTERED SUPPORT, EDUCATION, AND CARE FOR THOSE APPROACHING END OF LIFE.

THE HOSPICE OF KONA FOUNDATION OPERATES A 5 BED HOUSE (NAKAMARU HALE) FOR THOSE PATIENTS WHO ARE UNABLE TO BE CARED FOR AT HOME, OPERATES A THRIFT STORE (MEMORY LANE), AND PROVIDES FREE GRIEF COUNSELING TO COMMUNITY MEMBERS. THE FOUNDATION ALSO ANNUALLY HOLDS A GRIEF CAMP FOR CHILDREN.
