THERAPEUTIC RIDING INSTRUCTIONTHERAPEUTIC RIDING CAN IMPROVE THE COGNITIVE, PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL AND SOCIAL WELL-BEING OF INDIVIDUALS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS. WHILE RIDING, THE RHYTHMIC MOTION OF A HORSE CAN PROVIDE IMPROVED FLEXIBILITY, BALANCE AND MUSCLE STRENGTH.
HORSEMANSHIPHORSEMANSHIP AT STARBRITE ENCOMPASSES ALL OF OUR UNMOUNTED WORK AND TRAINING. THIS CAN BE INDIVIDUAL OR WITH GROUPS. MANY DIFFERENT GOALS CAN BE MET THROUGH UNMOUNTED HORSEMANSHIP. HORSES ARE A GREAT HELP FOR SENSORY INTEGRATION ISSUES.
HORSES FOR HEROSEQUINE-BASED ACTIVITIES HAVE PROVEN BENEFICIAL FOR VETERANS WITH POST-TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER (PTSD), TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY (TBI) AND MANY OTHER PHYSICAL, SOCIAL, COGNITIVE, AND EMOTIONAL CONDITIONS.
