WRMC IS LOCATED IN A MEDICALLY UNDERSERVED AND PROVIDER SHORTAGE AREA IN EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA. THE HEALTH SYSTEM PROVIDES PRIMARY CARE SERVICES THROUGH ITS RURAL CLINIC AND SPECIALIST OUTPATIENT SERVICES THROUGH IT'S OUTPATIENT FACILITIES. WRMC PROVIDES WOMEN'S HEALTH SERVICES THROUGH ITS STATE OF THE ART WOMEN'S CENTER WHERE WOMEN OF ALL WALKS OF LIFE CAN ACQUIRE FOCUSED HEALTH AND WELLNESS SERVICES. THE HEALTH SYSTEM HAD 15552 TOTAL PATIENT VOLUME WITH AVERAGE EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT VOLUME OF 457 PER MONTH. TOTAL EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT VOLUME WAS 5488, TOTAL INPATIENT VOLUME WAS 1426 PATIENTS AND REHABILITATIVE CARE (SWING BED) VOLUME WAS 2675 PATIENTS. THE HEALTH SYSTEM SIGNED SEVERAL SMALL REGIONAL EMPLOYER GROUPS TO CONTRACTS TO CARE FOR THEIR EMPLOYEES REDUCING THEIR OVER ALL HEALTHCARE EXPENSE. THE HEALTH SYSTEM PROVIDED THE ONLY RESIPIRATORY CARE CLINIC FOR COVID 19 SCREENING HELPING REGIONAL PHYSICIANS AND MID LEVEL PROVIDERS KEEP THEIR OFFICES OPEN. WRMC TESTED ON 5000 COMMUNITY MEMBERS FOR COVID 19 AT NO COST TO THE INDIVIDUAL. THE HEALTH SYSTEM PROVIDED COVID 19 SUPPORT TO THE COMMUNITY BY TRAVELING TO BUSINESS TO TEST EMPLOYEES ON-SITE HELPING THOSE EMPLOYERS STAY OPEN AT NO CHARGE TO THE EMPLOYER OR BUSINESS. WRMC IS COMMITTED TO PROVIDING QUALITY HEALTHCARE. WRMC STRIVES TO DELIVER EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE TO OUR PATIENTS, EMPLOYEES, PHYSICIANS AND COMMUNITY.
