TO PROVIDE A COMPREHENSIVE TRAINING PROGRAM FOR THOSE IN PURSUIT OF THE INTERNATIONALLY RECOGNIZED PEER RECOVERY CREDENTIAL. THE FOCUS IS ON PROVIDING INDIVIDUALS WITH THE SKILLS NEEDED TO GUIDE, MENTOR AND SUPPORT THOSE WHO WOULD LIKE TO ENTER OR SUSTAIN LONG-TERM RECOVERY.

HOUSING: JPR RESPONDED TO THE STATE'S EXTENDED LIMITATIIONS OF CONFINEMENT BY ACCEPTING PEOPLE DIRECTLY FROM NCDPS AND THE COUNTY DETENTION CENTER. WE PROVIDED TRANSITIONAL SOBER HOUSING TO 52 PEOPLE IN RECOVERY/RE-ENTER WHO CAME TO US REFERRED FROM SHELTERS, STATE PRISON, TREATMENT CENTERS AND HOSPITALS. WE HAD ONE FACILITY FOR PEOPLE IN RECOVERY AND ANOTHER FOR PEOPLE IN RE-ENTRY. GROUPS WERE SEPARATED BY MALE AND FEMALE. WE PROVIDED EMERGENCY FOOD AND SHELTER AS NEEDED FOR RECOVERING AND RE-ENTERING INDIVIDUALS WHO WERE REFERRED FROM OUR PROGRAM PARTNERS DURING THE ONSET AND HEIGHT OF COVID.
SUPPORT SERVICES: JPR PROVIDED: BIRTH CERTIFICATES, SOCIAL SECURITY CARDS, STATE ID CARDS AND COMMUNITY-BASED SUPPORT TO 68 INDIVIDUALS. CERTIFIED PEER SUPPORT SERVICE CREDENTIALS AND TRAUMA/RESILIENCE TRAINING TO 23 INDIVIDUALS.
