COVID-19: IN RESPONSE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, THE ORGANIZATION PARTNERED WITH ACADEMIC AND FEDERAL ORGANIZATIONS IN MULTIPLE PROJECTS TO MITIGATE THE EFFECTS OF COVID-19 ON INDIVIDUALS AND COMMUNITIES. THE ORGANIZATION HAS LAUNCHED THE FOLLOWING PROJECTS TO HELP MITIGATE THE EFFECTS OF COVID- 19: NORTH CAROLINA CEAL (1-TEAM), NATIONAL COVID RESILIENCY NETWORK, THE NATIONAL NETWORK TO INNOVATE FOR COVID-19 AND VACCINE EQUITY, COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT ALLIANCE CONSULTATIVE RESOURCE, AND RAPID ACCELERATING DIAGNOSTICS FOR UNDERSERVED POPULATIONS RADXUP COORDINATION DATA AND COLLECTION CENTER.


HISTORICALLY SERVING MINORITY INSTITUTIONS PROJECTS: THE ORGANIZATION LAUNCHED THE FOLLOWING PROJECTS TO ENGAGE RESEARCHERS, STUDENTS, PATIENTS AND ADVOCACY ORGANIZATIONS AT HISTORICALLY BLACK COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES (HBCU) IN CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASE RESEARCH: AT THE HEART OF THE MATTER AND CAPACITY BUILDING FOR HBCUS IN TOBACCO NATION PROJECTS.
