PROVIDE A SAFE AND DRUG FREE ENVIRONMENT FOR STUDENTS BETWEEN THE 6TH AND 12TH GRADES. OFFERING FREE TUTORING, A RECREATIONAL ENVIRONMENT, PEER MENTORING, A THRIFT STORE AND ACTIVITIES TO HELP STUDENTS LEARN.

THE THRIFT STORE PROVIDES GENTLY USED ITEMS FOR EXTREMELY AFFORDABLE PRICES. THE REFUGE PROVIDES A YEARLY BACK TO SCHOOL FREE SHOPPING EVENT, CHRISTMAS TOY DRIVE AND GIVEAWAY, AND WAS ABLE TO OFFER FREE CLOTHING, FURNITURE AND HOUSEHOLD ITEMS TO THE VICTIMS OF THE VILLE 647 COMPLEX FIRE THAT IMPACTED OVER 50 FAMILIES.


REFUGE OFFERS PEER MENTORING WITH OVER 60 YOUTH ENROLLED. THE WEEKLY PEER MENTORSHIP PROGRAM FOCUSES ON STUDENT SUCCESS, JOB, SKILLS AND GOOD CITIZENSHIP. THE REFUGE PROVIDES RECREATION EVERY FRIDAY OF THE YEAR, EXCEPT HOLIDAYS, FOR LOCAL YOUTH IN A DRUG FREE, SAFE ENVIRONMENT.


THE REFUGE PROVIDES SCHOLARSHIPS, GRANTS AND BENEVOLENCE TO THOSE IN NEED.
