TO PROVIDE COORDINATED RECOVERY SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES AFFECTED BY DISASTERS IN THE SARPY COUNTY COMMUNITY. THE PRIMARY GOAL IS TO SEE ALL FELLOW RESIDENTS RECOVER FROM THE DISASTER AND FIND THEIR NEW NORMAL BY PROVIDING "HOPE THROUGH HELP AND HEALING". TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL, MENTAL HEALTH, COMMUNITY NETWORK CONNECTIONS AND OTHER RESOURCES TO INDIVIDUALS IMPACTED BY NATURAL DISASTERS.

SARPY DISASTER RECOVERY PROVIDED SUPPLIES, DUMPSTERS, REPAIRS AND CONTRACT SERVICES TO FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS WHOSE HOMES WERE DAMAGED OR DESTROYED BY THE HEARTLAND FLOODS OF 2019 (FEDERAL DISASTER DECLARATION DR-4420-NE).IN ADDITION, SARPY DISASTER RECOVERY ALSO PARTNERED WITH SEVERAL LOCAL AGENCIES TO PROVIDE MUCH NEEDED FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO THESE FAMILIES THROUGH OUR PARTNERSHIP.
