THE EDWARD JONES DISASTER RELIEF FUND (THE "FUND") PROVIDES FINANCIAL GRANTS TO EMPLOYEES AND PARTNERS ("ASSOCIATES") OF THE JONES FINANCIAL COMPANIES, L.L.L.P. AND ITS DIRECT AND INDIRECT AFFILIATES ("EDWARD JONES") WHO HAVE SUFFERED A SUBSTANTIAL ECONOMIC LOSS AS A RESULT OF A "QUALIFED DISASTER," AS DEFINED IN SECTION 139 OF THE CODE.

SEE SCHEUDLE OWHEN A "QUALIFED DISASTER" OCCURED, EDWARD JONES ASSOCIATES RECEIVED COMMUNICATION VIA EMAIL FROM EDWARD JONES AND ON THE EDWARD JONES INTRANET. THE DOCUMENT ENTITLED "EDWARD JONES DISASTER RELIEF FUND" WAS SENT VIA EMAIL TO EDWARD JONES ASSOCIATES AND REGIONAL LEADERS FOLLOWING EACH QUALIFED DISASTER, WHICH INCLUDED HURRICANE IAN AND THE MISSOURI, KENTUCKY, AND ILLINOIS FLOODS TO REMIND THEM OF THE EXISTENCE OF THE FUND AND THE OPPORTUNITY TO APPLY FOR A GRANT.IN ORDER TO QUALIFY FOR ASSISTANCE FROM THE FUND, ASSOCIATES MUST COMPLETE AN APPLICATION THAT REQUIRES THEM TO SUNSTANTIATE THEIR ECONOMIC NEED FROM A "QUALIFED DISASTER." THE APPLICATION ALLOWS APPLICANTS TO IDENTIFY THE SPECIFIC QUALIFED DISASTER FOR WHICH THEY ARE REQUESTING A GRANT.DURING 2023, THE EDWARD JONES DISASTER RELIEF FUND PROVIDED DISASTER RELIEF TO 45 INDIVIDUALS FOR A TOTAL OF $242,097.
