EDIFY SERVED OVER 100 FAMILIES DURING THE 2020 TAX YEAR. THIS INCLUDED PROVIDING OVER $1000 WORTH OF SCHOOL SUPPLIES AND BACKPACKS TO LOW INCOMES FAMILIES IN THE INGLEWOOD AND SOUTH LA COMMUNITIES DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC. WE ALSO PARTNERED WITH LOCAL BUSINESSES AND CREATED NEW PARTNERSHIPS. IN ADDITION TO THIS, WE LAUNCHED OUR FIRST CODING/ENTREPRENEURSHIP 6 WEEK PROGRAM AND SERVICED 10 STUDENTS. EACH STUDENT HAD 2 MENTORS AND CREATED THEIR OWN MONEY GENERATING APP OR WEBSITE. DURING THE PROGRAM, STUDENTS LEARNED BASIC BUSINESS AND MARKETING METHODS AS WELL AS CODING AND WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT SKILLS.
