SENIOR FARM BAGS - IN 2021, WE DISTRIBUTED FRESH, PESTICIDE-FREE VEGETABLES THROUGH OUR BI-MONTHLY SENIOR FARM BAG PROGRAM. DURING THE HARVEST SEASONS WE CONSISTENTLY FED 40-50 SENIORS AND THEIR FAMILIES.
FARM INFRASTRUCTURE - OUR FOCUS IN 2021 WAS TO BUILD OUT THE FARM INFRASTRUCTURE IN ORDER TO PRODUCE VEGETABLES FOR DISTRIBUTION TO THE SENIORS IN OUR COMMUNITY. THIS INCLUDED BUILDING GREENHOUSES, PLANTING AND SEEDING AND BUILDING UP THE LAND TO AVOID FUTURE FLOODING.
FARM FLEX SPACE - IN 2021 WE COMPLETED CONSTRUCTION OF A 1,200 SQ. FT. BUILDING THAT WE WILL USE FOR FUTURE FARM TO TABLE FUNDRAISERS, EDUCATIONAL COURSES AND COMMUNITY EVENT SPACE FOR FUTURE FARM EVENTS.
