CURRENTLY, WE HAVE TRAINED 171 PROVIDERS AND STAFF IN 43 PRACTICES IN 18 ALABAMA COUNTIES SINCE 2020. OUR HPV VACCINATION QUALITY IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM TITLED PREVENTING HPV ASSOCIATED CANCERS THROUGH EFFECTIVE PROVIDER EDUCATION TRAINS PHYSICIANS AND THEIR STAFF ON HOW TO GIVE AN EFFECTIVE RECOMMENDATION FOR THE HPV VACCINE, WHAT TO SAY TO PARENTS WHO HESITATE, AND HOW TO DECREASE MISSED OPPORTUNITIES TO GIVE THE VACCINE. WE ALSO EDUCATE PARENTS, ADOLESCENTS, AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC ON THE SAFETY, EFFICACY, AND IMPORTANCE OF THE HPV VACCINE THROUGH OUR DIGITAL MEDIA PROGRAMS ON FACEBOOK AND INSTAGRAM.
