Describe the Organization's Mission:
Part 3 - Line 1
BUNTPORT THEATER COMPANY BELIEVES THAT IT IS NECESSARY TO CREATE NEW WORKS. IN ORDER TO ENSURE UTMOST ACCESSIBILITY, WE STRESS AFFORDABILITY, VARIETY, ABUNDANCE, AND FILTERING CREATIONS THROUGH MANY MINDS. WE BELIEVE THAT COLLABORATION ON EVERY LEVEL OF OPERATION IS A STRONG AND VITAL MODEL FOR ARTS ORGANIZATIONS.
Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
Part 3 - Line 4a
OUR 20+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN DEVELOPING NEW WORK HAS MADE US LEADERS OF DEVISED WORK IN THE COMMUNITY. WE ARE EXPERTS BY WAY OF OUR NEARLY 100 YEARS OF COLLECTIVE EXPERIENCE. OUR COLLABORATIVE WORKING MODEL IS A STRONG ONE FOR ARTS ORGANIZATIONS, ALLOWING FOR THE SAME GROUP OF PEOPLE TO WORK TOGETHER, ALL WHILE CENTERING THE ARTIST IN EVERY DECISION. WE PUT WORK INTO PLANNING OUR SEASONS, BUT ARE ALSO ABLE TO ADAPT QUICKLY AND INCORPORATE CURRENT EVENTS WHEN NECESSARY. THE WORK THAT WE MAKE GROWS OUT OF OUR EXPERIENCES HERE AND WE PLACE GREAT VALUE ON THAT. WE ALWAYS STRIVE FOR ARTISTIC EXCELLENCE AND ARE INVESTED IN CHALLENGING OURSELVES AND OUR AUDIENCES. BUNTPORT WORKS NON-HIERARCHICALLY (WITH A FEMALE MAJORITY) IN ALL ASPECTS OF OUR BUSINESS, APPLYING MANY MINDS TO EVERY CHALLENGE. THE SAME GROUP OF CREATIVES HAVE BEEN WORKING TOGETHER THIS WAY FOR OVER 19 YEARS. AN ON- GOING COLLABORATION BETWEEN THE SAME ARTISTS WITH SUCH PROLIFIC OUTPUT IS NEARLY UNHEARD OF IN ANY GENRE. OUR WORK IS CONSISTENTLY PRAISED BY MEDIA OUTLETS AND HOPEFULLY SERVES AS INSPIRATION TO OTHER GROUPS INTERESTED IN DEVELOPING NEW WORK. WE ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT PROVIDING AFFORDABLE ENTERTAINMENT, BUT NOT AT THE EXPENSE OF ARTISTS.
