CTA'S LARGEST EVENT IS CALLED C-LEVEL @ A MILE HIGH, AND IS DESIGNED TO FACILITATE BETTER BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES BETWEEN CIO'S ACROSS ALL INDUSTRIES WITH TECHNOLOGY COMPANIES AND PROFESSIONALS ACROSS THE STATE. CTA ORGANIZES THE ENTIRE EVENT, IDENTIFIES KEY CIO'S AND VP'S OF I.T. TO PARTICIPATE, AND THE EVENT ATTRACTED 658 ATTENDEES TO INCREASE UNDERSTANDING TO BETTER FACILITATE BUSINESS IN THE STATE.
CTA'S GENERAL OPERATIONS AND MEMBERSHIP ACTIVITIES, WHICH INCLUDE INVOLVEMENT FROM EMPLOYEES OF MEMBER COMPANIES, IS OUR SECOND LARGEST INITIATIVE. THE ACTIVITIES IN WHICH MEMBERS PARTICIPATEINCLUDE EVERYTHING FROM ATTENDING PROGRAMS AND WORKSHOPS FOR ENHANCED INFORMATION, TO HELPING THE ORGANIZATION EXECUTE ITS SPECIAL EVENTS AND PROGRAMS. CTA ALSO WORKED AGAIN IN 2020 TO INCREASE AWARENESSS AND UNDERSTANDING WITH BUSINESS AND LEGISLATIVE LEADERS, AS WELL AS IN THE AREA OF STEM EDUCATION TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF STUDENTS INTERESTED IN TECHNOLOGY CAREERS. THIS IS AN AREA OF INVESTMENT FOR THE ORGAINZATION, AND THE OBJECTIVE IS TO OFFSET EXPENSES BOTH THROUGH MEMBERSHIP AND SPONSORSHIPS AS WELL AS EVENTS.
CTA'S WORKSHOPS, PROGRAMS, WOMEN IN TECH CONFERENCE AND ANNUAL AWARDS EVENT (APEX) ALL COMPRISE THE THIRD SIGNIFICANT PROGRAM AREA.
