THE BOULDER CHORALE BROUGHT TOGETHER SINGERS FROM AGE 5 TO 95. IN OUR 2021-22 SEASON, THE CHORALE WAS ABLE TO RETURN TO IN-PERSON REHEARSALS, PERFORMANCES AND EVENTS. THE ADULT CHOIRS PREFORMED IN 6 CONCERTS, OF WHICH 3 WERE OUR OWN PRODUCTIONS AND 3 WERE COLLABORATIONS WITH AREA SYMPHONIC AND CHAMBER ORCHESTRAS. THE CHILDREN'S CHOIRS PERFORMED IN 3 CONCERTS, OF WHICH 2 WERE OUR OWN PRODUCTIONS AND 1 WAS IN COLLABORATION WITH AN AREA SYMPHONIC ORCHESTRA. IN ADDITION, THE CHILDREN PARTICIPATED IN THEIR FALL 2021 PERFORMANCE CAMP AND A SPRING 2022 PERFORMANCE FUNDRAISING EVENT. THE CHORALE CONTINUED ITS TRADITION OF DIVERSE PROGRAMMING OF MUSIC TRADITIONS AND STYLES. THESE PROVIDED SINGERS WITH A BROAD OPPORTUNITY TO CHALLENGE AND EXPAND THEIR SINGING SKILLS AS WELL AS OFFER EXPOSURE TO NEW AND DIFFERENT MUSIC GENRES. THE CHILDREN'S PROGRAM CONTINUES TO PROVIDE HIGH QUALITY MUSIC EDUCATION. OUR DIVERSITY CONCERTS AND TWO RECITAL FUNDRAISING EVENTS PROVIDED MEANINGFUL PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES FOR MANY AREA MUSICIANS. THE BOULDER CHORALE'S OPERATIONS EMPLOYED 4 MUSIC DIRECTORS, 5 PIANISTS, AN EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR (PART OF 2021), AND 1 ADMINISTRATIVE GENERAL MANAGER. THE CHORALE CONTINUED TO PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIPS TO SINGERS OF ALL AGES TO ENSURE THAT FINANCIAL NEED DOESN'T PREVENT QUALIFIED SINGERS FROM SHARING IN THE JOY OF OUR MUSIC.
