TO EDUCATE AND INSPIRE WONDER IN VISITORS OF ALL BACKGROUNDS ABOUT THE SCIENCE AND HISTORY OF THE FOSSILS AND NATURAL RESOURCES FOUND AT DINOSAUR RIDGE, TRICERATOPS TRAIL, AND RELATED PALEONTOLOGY SITES.

WE PRACTICE RESPONSIBLE STEWARDSHIP WITH A STRONG COMMITMENT AND URGENCY TO PRESERVE THE FOSSILS AND NATURE RESOURCES FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS. DINOSAUR RIDGE IS DESIGNATED BY THE NATIONAL PARK SERVICE AS A NATIONAL NATURAL LANDMARK. OUR GOALS ARE ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH THE DEVELOPMENT OF EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, THROUGH THE EXHIBITION AND PRESERVATION OF FOSSILS. WE ALSO SUPPORT SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH ON DINOSAUR RIDGE. IN THE 12 MONTHS ENDED SEPTEMBER 30, 2022, APPROXIMATELY 206,000 PEOPLE VISITED DINOSAUR RIDGE, APPROXIMATELY 50% OF WHOM CAME FROM OUTSIDE THE DENVER-BOULDER METRO AREA. OUR TWO LARGEST GUIDED PROGRAM OFFERINGS INCLUDE OUR SMALL, GUIDED SCIENCE BUS TOURS (APPROXIMATELY 24,000 RIDERS IN 2022) AND OUR SCHOOL FIELD TRIPS (APPROXIMATELY 8,000 ATTENDEES IN 2022). IN ADDITION, WE THINK OF OUR SEVERAL DOZEN INTERPRETIVE SIGNS AS OUR MOST USED EDUCATION VEHICLE. THOUGH NOT GUIDED, APPROXIMATELY 100,000 VISITORS PER YEAR VIEW OUR SCIENCE- ORIENTED INTERPRETIVE SIGNS.
