THE RURAL COMMUNITIES RESOURCE CENTER RCRC IS A GRASSROOTS NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION IN NORTHEAST COLORADO. THE RCRC PROVIDES ADVOCACY, SUPPORT AND EDUCATION TO CREATE SYSTEMS CHANGE AND DEVELOP PROGRAMS THAT PROMOTE THE PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL AND ECONOMIC HEALTH OF THE AREA.

FAMILY HEALTH PROGRAM WOMENS HEALTH PROJECT, CONNECT FOR HEALTH COLORADO ASSISTANCE SITE, PRESUMPTIVE ELIGIBILITY AND APPLICATION ASSISTANCE SITE FOR MEDICAID AND CHP, HEALTHY CHILD CLINIC, ORAL HEALTH PROJECT-PROVIDING DENTAL SCREENINGS FOR ADULTS AND CHILDREN AND ACCESS TO RESTORATIVE CARE, HEALTHY LIVING PROGRAM-INCLUDING COOKING/NUTRITION CLASSES, EXERCISE GROUPS, COMMUNITY GARDENING, PARENT ENGAGEMENT IN HEALTHY SCHOOLS, TOBACCO PREVENTION AND CESSATION, AND LENDING LIBRARY.


EARLY CHILDHOOD CARE AND EDUCATION PROGRAM CHILD CARE RESOURCE AND REFERRAL-CHILD CARE REFERRALS AND CHILD CARE PROVIDER TRAINING, FAMILY LITERACY-BOOK AND TOY LIBRARY, LITERACY ACTIVITIES FOR PARENTS, EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATORS AND CARE PROVIDERS, AND EARLY CHILD COUNCIL OF YUMA, WASHINGTON AND KIT CARSON COUNTIES.


ADVOCACY AND SUPPORT PARENTING EDUCATION IN GROUPS OR ONE-ON-ONE SESSIONS INCLUDING PARENTING AFTER DIVORCE, FINANCIAL LITERACY AND BUDGETING, INFORMATION-RESOURCES-REFERRALS TO ALL LOCAL SERVICES DOMESTIC VIOLENCE PROGRAM EMERGENCY SHELTER, COUNSELING, ADVOCACY AND REFERRALS.
