TO CREATE AND PRESERVE LOW INCOME HOUSING AND OTHER OPPORTUNITIES FOR UNDERSERVED HOUSEHOLDS, INCLUDING THOSE THAT ARE LOW AND MODERATE INCOME, SPANISH-SPEAKING AND THOSE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS. THE CORE VALUES STATE THAT ALL PERSONS, WITHOUT DISCRIMINATION, HAVE THE RIGHT TO DECENT, SAFE AND SANITARY HOUSING; AND THAT SERVICES FOR SPECIAL NEEDS POPULATIONS NOT ONLY BENEFIT THE SERVICE RECIPIENTS, BUT ALSO FOSTER HEALTHY NEIGHBORHOODS.

OPERATE DECENT, SAFE, AND SANITARY HOUSING AFFORDABLE TO ALL LOW INCOME TO RESIDENTS, INCLUDING THE ELDERLY, DISABLED, AND SPECIAL NEEDS FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS WITHIN THE DENVER METRO AREA


PROVIDE ONE-ON-ONE COUNSELING TO FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS LOW/MODERATE-INCOME WITH THE PURPOSE OF HELPING THEM TO REACH THEIR GOAL OF PURCHASING A HOME. IN ONE-ON-ONE COUNSELING THE FAMILIES WILL LEARN HOW TO BUDGET, HOW TO BUILD AND ESTABLISH CREDIT, HOW TO SAVE, LENDING PROCESS AND MORTGAGE OPTIONS, BE AWARE OF PREDATORY LENDERS AND HOME MAINTENANCE.
